Firm Representative Information

Membership

The membership of PROFIT, INC. is composed of people representing firms in business in our community. Members represent a cross-section of various businesses, running the gamut from multi-million-dollar corporations to local independent operations. Each representative shall be in a decision-making capacity within his or her firm.

Obligations

Obligation has a negative connotation, but at PROFIT, INC. the emphasis is on the positive, even regarding our small list of “musts”. Each member has an obligation to endeavor to seek business opportunities for all other members. Each member has the obligation of becoming familiar with the services and/or products of his fellow members, so that all referrals are made with honesty and sincerity. Finally, each member shall seek new members to fill open classifications.

Objectives

The goal of PROFIT, INC. lies in two major areas: First, to exchange business information among its members and, most importantly, to actively encourage referrals to potential customers within the organization. The ultimate objective: the increase of mutual profits to all members.

Leads

Leads are referrals which represent either potential business to a fellow member, or which directly results in a business transaction.

Luncheon Meetings

One of the most enjoyable aspects of PROFIT, INC. is the luncheon meeting, held every first Thursday afternoon, from 12:00–1:30pm. During the meeting, business between members is talked, trade talks are given and most importantly, informal interaction between members takes place, keeping all members in touch with the business pulse of the community.

Open Houses

Open Houses are held throughout the year. The place: One of the member’s facilities where a tour will be held. This tour will benefit both the member and the membership, as well as provide an interesting social evening. Member’s family, friends and associates are encouraged to attend.

Dues

Dues are paid monthly and will normally cover all costs of the club. Initial membership is $150.00 with monthly dues of $85.00.
